Bought prey and the dlcs yesterday and I have to ask, is the game linear or no? like is there several different player choices that affect stuff or no? No spoilers I barely got anywhere so far.
What's on your mind?

Hello Prey community! I'm in the process of applying to become bureaucrat/administrator of this wiki, and I'd like to hear your thoughts.
I've been the sole active moderator of the Prey subreddit for years now, and would like to extend my passion to maintaining upkeep of this site. I also post daily on my Prey fanblog, @TranStarCorp451 on Twitter, so you can rest assured I will continue to be passionate and active on here.
In the last 10 days or so, I've been correcting and adding to hundreds of articles, along with prettying them up with clean new images.
With bureaucrat permissions, I would also be able to:
Fix/overhaul the site theme, since it's been broken on desktop for years now.
Add in CSS that would obfuscate game spoilers for new fans.
Delete spam articles and redundant files.
Rename all junk file titles to be more descriptive.
Protect the site from any vandalism.
Do you support my application? If not, please explain why!
Thank you!!

Not dead. Prey is a great game.
I play it a lot and keep finding new things.
Is anyone still looking at this wiki or is it dead?
Following up on an old archived reddit post here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/prey/comments/8uzzy1/no_plans_to_fabricate_error/
There's a fairly common bug where the fabricator will display a "No Plans To Fabricate" error. The reddit post suggested a few solutions around clearing the tray with frags and the likes but those didn't work for me.
After a lot of trial and error, I found a completely different solution that suggests an entirely different bug: In Data -> Plans, click to read about Morgan's Arming Key. To be safe, do so for all the plans.
If I had to guess, two possible causes come to mind:
The bug is triggered when you hold off on fabricating Morgan's key (since it takes space) and instead go off to do explorations and side/major quests. For me (and others as the old posts suggest) it seemed to coincide with the Turret fabrication fight in the Cargo Bay shortly before Reboot.
A bad quest item trigger for Turrets: The fabricator probably has at least two item numbers for Turrets (a generic one and one for the quest line). So, when you finish the quest, if the last thing you toggled the selection on was the old Turret, since it's now disabled, it will create a "no plans" bug. And when you go into Data -> Plans and toggle to a different plan, it will reset the toggle.
P.s I tried posting this on reddit but the original thread is archived while doing a new post didn't work for some reason.

To be honest this wiki is kind of dieing and I like the game but no one even talks here anymore
Hello everyone!
June is Pride month, and Fandom is happy to celebrate the wonderful people of the LGBTQIA+ community!
Prey features a character from the LGBTQIA+ community, including Morgan Yu, who is up for the debate on being lesbianr bi-sexual. Regardless, they represent the community well.
This month, Fandom will have a number of initatives to celebrate Pride across the platform. You can read more about the blog post here and a list of events Fandom will be hosting below.

Hi, everyone! I'm here to let you know that Fandom is currently in the middle of celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.
Throughout the month of May, we are taking the time to celebrate the AAPI community and their significant contributions to American culture—science, sports, activism and entertainment to name a few.
You may have seen other celebration events like this one in the past, but in case this is your first time hearing of this - what we do at Fandom is highlight a number of TV shows, movies, video games, comics, artists, and some of the characters featured in these. There are community roundtables you're welcome to join, and some extra surprises, such as trivia quizzes to participate in.
You can read up on the blog post introducing the event to find out more about the celebration. And if you wish to join, make sure to enter the Fandom Discord server for news and updates on the fun initiatives that are happening!
QUIZ: MORGAN YU
One of the characters featured in our celebration is Morgan Yu, protagonist of 2017's Prey - someone you all may know really well. If you'd like to test your knowledge, you can try out our Morgan Yu quiz!
AAPI ROUNDTABLE: VIDEO GAMES
Next week, we are going to be having a roundtable session on AAPI video games, which is an opportunity to share your thoughts on Prey and Morgan's character, as well as any other games.
The roundtable is simple - you just need to join Fandom's Discord server, and start chatting as much or as little as you want in our #aapi-roundtable channel once it's time for it.
The video game roundtable is happening on Wednesday, May 25, at 9AM PST / 6PM CET - feel free to use the event link and set up a reminder if you'd like!
I entered the lobby from hardware and saw it across the room, the quest where you get the timer to evade it won’t start until it sees me, but I have no way to evade or fight it (out of ammo, was trying to get to office to make some)
Edit: I forgot the Nightmare is dumb af, I tossed a lure and was able to make some pistol ammo to startle it with and just sat under a table.
Hey there!
Last month, we celebrated the Hispanic Heritage Month at Fandom!
This month, it's time to celebrate in a similar fashion the Native American Heritage Month!
National Native American Heritage Month is an observance period in the United States for recognizing the histories, invaluable contributions and livelihood of American Indian and Alaska Native people.
The month of November is the right moment to explore the contributions of these tribes and cultures through dance, languages, family traditions, and music.
Feel free to read up more about it on the official blog post about it!
To celebrate it on this wiki, a good page to check out and update would be Domasi "Tommy" Tawodi.
There are spoilers on the main article for Typhon.
There was asbsoloutely no need to reveal the post-credits ending on this page.
Ruined the game for me. Please tell whoever wrote the page that I hate them.
Is the original prey not canon to the reboot? Or is there just no direct reference's stating there connected?
Can you survive a nightmare if your legs are borken and if not then i just got extrmely lucky that there was a fabicator nearby
Hello
This wiki uh... Alive, at all?
I woke up today to find some character pages deleted of their info! I don't know what or who did! edit: some things are definitly not their, but i looked it up a while ago before, even searched the change log history [well their was'nt one] and that page never existed.
I've found that January makes different comments depending on which neuromod you install first. Some have unique comments attached to them, other have the same comment for multiple neuromods.
I've only tested this with the human neuromods though. Has anybody tried this with the Typhon neuromods?
So there’s a glitch that keys you play that game without your suit and it’s hilarious and it’s even more funny when you have the stun gun and just shock people
