- "I don't want to alarm you, but there's been a launch from the Argus platform. The board of directors has caught wind of the situation here. I suppose it was inevitable despite my efforts. That's why it's important we act quickly, decisively. They'll try to take this out of our hands, Morgan."
- – Alex Yu [src]
Argus Installation is a hidden facility possibly belonging to the TranStar corporation.
History[]
Argus Installation is seldom mentioned in Prey (2017). The only characters that seem aware of it's existence are TranStar higher-ups, namely the board of directors, Walther Dahl, Alex Yu, and by association, Morgan Yu. It is implied that Dahl is stationed there, as he expresses confusion to his whereabouts if the player chooses to uninstall his Neuromods, asking "Is this Argus Installation?".
Based on Dahl's military background, it is possible the "facility running dark" spotted by Scott Parker are one in the same. It is seemingly under private military command, as Scott was firmly ordered to resume his original flight course upon making contact.

Trivia[]
- In Greek mythology, Argus is a many-eyed giant who guards Io.
- Scott Parker's flight log is labelled as a "DLC hook" in the game files, suggesting that, if his finding was indeed Argus, then it was a location in the running for a story expansion like Mooncrash. It may not have come to fruition after disappointing sales figures.
- It could be speculated that, because the "hidden location" seen in the ending of Prey does not match any of the layouts inside Talos I, that Alex Yu is using Argus to carry out the Project Cobalt experiments.
