According to developer notes, Blaine Cooly was filling in for Officer Jia Kyung-Ho at the Shuttle Bay while the latter was looking for the missing Grant Lockwood.
Prey (2017)[]
Morgan Yu finds Cooly's corpse inside the Shuttle Bay information booth. According to developer notes, a Phantom killed him from behind. Cooly carries suit repair kit and Shotgun shells while a neuromod with a Shotgun and 9mm bullets lay near him.

"Blaine, normall working the hardward, went to fill in for Jia while was investigating the disapearence of Grant Lockwood. He locked himself inside the security booth without realizing a phantom was lurking behind him."
