Dale Powell was assigned to the Crew Annex with the job title of Crew Maintenance. He played basketball, coming in third place in the Pytheas Free Throw Championship organized by Etienne David with a score of 10 baskets in a row. Prior to the outbreak, Dale agreed to take part in the poker game that Trey Larson was setting up.

Peter finds Dale dead in the Rec Room on the Habitation Level of the Crew Annex, sprawled over a pool table. A random weapon lies near his corpse. He was likely killed by the Typhon while trying to fight back after they interrupted the poker game. Dale Powell carries random loot.
