History

Background

Ekaterina worked as cargo handler aboard Talos I. When the Typhon broke containment, she was in Fuel Storage. A fire broke out, and she saw people fleeing - initially assuming them to be running from the flames, while they were actually fleeing the Typhon. Ekaterina contained the fire and tried to reach the power supply when Alfred Rose came and got her out before she got hurt.

Prey (2017)

Morgan Yu finds Ekaterina in Cargo Bay hiding with the other survivors. Unarmed, she resides in the office by the food supply table.

Trivia

• Ekaterina becomes annoyed at the player if they attempt to take or eat any of the food the survivors have gathered, stating the supplies aren't for them. Amusingly, the level flowgraphs refer to the apple on her person as stolen, suggesting hypocrisy in the accusation.
• Attacking the other Cargo Bay survivors can turn Ekaterina hostile. She will, however, not move and instead faint the moment she detects the player.
• Ekaterina will die from any amount of damage, similarly to Mikhaila prior to receiving her medication.
• Her name having improper Russian grammar is another similarity.
