Doctor Hendrik DeVries was a chief surgeon working on Talos I during Prey (2017).

Background[]
Hendrik DeVries worked as chief surgeon in the Trauma Center aboard Talos I. Together with Mathias Kohl, they monitored Trevor J. Young after he was taken over by a Telepath. At some point Alex Yu contacted DeVries and asked him to remove all sensitive material regarding the psych evaluations of Morgan Yu. After interrogating Kohl, DeVries left him in his own living quarters, and recorded a message saying that Kohl already wiped the recording of Morgan's breakdown off his computer, that the last copy is hidden in his office, and that Alex will need to get it by himself. He studied Otolaryngology at the Kennedy School of Sciences.
Prey (2017)[]
DeVries' corpse is found on the 4th level of the Lobby, by the entrance to the Arboretum in front of the broken main lift, guarded by a Technopath and two Corrupted Operators, suggesting them to be the cause of his death. DeVries carries a Petri Dish Sample, the keycard to his office, a medkit and an encrypted TranScribe.
