Jada Marks is the Bridge captain working on Talos I during Prey (2017).
History[]
Background[]
Jada Marks was in Command of Talos I Flight Management, as every shuttle was monitored by her as the Captain of Talos I. She was having a dilemma over whether to destroy Shuttle "Advent" as it departed 30 minutes from Talos I before the Typhon outbreak happened. However, the Typhon broke in before she could make her decision and she was killed by Mimics as heard in the TranScribe.
Her room in the Crew Quarters stores the safe that contains the Artemis Golden Pistol, the gun that was mentioned by one of her crew in order to use it against the Typhon.
Prey (2017)[]
During the early stages of the outbreak, Captain Marks decides to announce an evacuation of Talos I. Though she wouldn't know it, this would cause the deaths of many people owing to the escape pods being broken. Marks also asks her subordinate Marietta Kyrkos to retrieve the Golden Pistol from her cabin, but she is unsuccessful.
Morgan Yu finds Marks' corpse in the Captain's Loft in the Bridge. She carries a Lemon Peel, a TranScribe, a keycard to her cabin and a Neuromod. A Silenced Pistol is laying near her corpse. Reading her emails opens up a side quest where Morgan Yu needs to decide whether to destroy Shuttle "Advent" with scuttle charges or let it land on the Seattle Facility, possibly bringing Mimics to Earth.
