Dr. Ken Mizuki was a medical examiner working at the Pytheas moon base during Prey: Mooncrash.
History[]
Background[]
Ken worked as a physician in Pytheas Labs, though it seems he was based in the Crew Annex as Pytheas' crew physician. He had a habit of leaving his workstation password out on his desk, which led Luis Carlos Safra to warn him about doing such a thing, which in turn caused Ken to begin hiding his password behind the boxes under his desk.
When Brian Chung gets seriously wounded by a falling lunar rock, Ken examined his body and then turned over him to the scientists in the labs to pay off his favor to Dianna Riendeau for secretly giving him Neuromods. When Joan Winslow started to ask him about Brian's condition, Ken constantly evaded the question.
Ken Mizuki graduated from Hader University with a Master in Molecular Science.
Mooncrash[]
At some point early on during the Typhon outbreak (or possibly even before), Joan visits his office in the Crew Annex in order to find out what happened to her boyfriend, Brian Chung. Finding Dr. Mizuki in his office, she bashes his head in with a Wrench, killing him in a fit of anger. Ken Mizuki carries random loot. Additional items like a chipset, TranScribe and a Neuromod can be found on the table in front of him, and other loot can be found around his office.
Ken Mizuki can only be found during Joan's story objective.

- Ken Mizuki shares a TranScribe photo with Jia Kyung-Ho.
- Ken shares his last name with Ai Mizuki in MoonWorks. It is unknown whether they are related.
- Ken is the second non-hostile NPC after Alex to be killed by player's protagonist in a cutscene.
- Also differently from Alex, Ken's death can't be prevented by the player.
