Mindjack

Mindjack is Typhon ability gained through use of Neuromods in Prey (2017) and Prey: Mooncrash. It branches off from Psychoshock Tier I.

Overview[]

Mindjack is an ability that lets you telepathically assume control over another human or a Typhon creature, and free humans from Typhon mind control. Morgan can learn this ability by researching Telepaths.

Tier I[]

Neuromods required: 2

Scannable targets: Mind-Controlled Human and Telepath

With Tier I Mindjack, Morgan can force biological enemies to end hostilities and fight for him or her for up to 20 seconds.

Tier II[]

Neuromods required: 4

Scannable targets: Telepath

With Tier II Mindjack, Morgan can force biological enemies to end hostilities and fight for him or her for up to 40 seconds.

Tier III[]

Neuromods required: 6

Scannable targets: Telepath

With Tier III Mindjack, Morgan can force biological enemies to end hostilities and fight for him or her for up to 60 seconds.

Trivia[]

Using Mindjack to free a mind-controlled Human will earn an achievement called Deprogramming.
