In 1962, the Americans and Soviets announce a joint mission to the moon. At some point TranStar built Pytheas facility in the middle of a crater on the Lunar pole, permanently shadowed and surrounded by kilometers of ice. To the public, TranStar claimed they were mining for helium-3, hydrogen and platinum. In reality, TranStar secretly researched Typhon organisms.
