VII. Escape Pods
In the event of a catastrophic failure, each major zone of the Pytheas Moonbase is outfitted with emergency escape pods. To ensure readiness:
A. All Security Officers are required to monitor escape pod status on an hourly basis by using the software available on all Security Stations.
B. To assure readiness, engineering must perform quarterly 12-point inspections, including replacement of navigational chip firmware.
D. Department heads must perform regular escape drills with their crew.
