Trevor J. Young is a researcher working aboard Talos I during Prey (2017).
History[]
Background[]
Trevor J. Young was a mathematical physicist working in Psychotronics. During one of the experiments he went into the chamber with a Telepath without wearing a Psychoscope. This causes Young to be mind-controlled by the Typhon. He was then put into quarantine, under strict watch from Mathias Kohl and his neuromods removed. The incident left him disorientated, paranoid and highly aggressive.
Prey (2017)[]
Morgan Yu finds Young locked in a quarantine inside Trauma Center. If Morgan enters the room, he will attack; he can be killed or knocked out using a Disruptor Stun Gun, Nullwave Transmitter or Mindjack. A code to the safe can be found scratched on a wall in the quarantine room.
Developer Notes[]
"This is the worker who walked into an experiment in psychotronics without a psychoscope. He was touched by a telepath and open a containment cell that contained a mimic, starting the outbreak on Talos. He was put under observation in psychotronics, determined to not be suffering under any adverse effects, and had his neuromods uninstalled, wiping his memory. He was put into the quarantine in trauma for further observation until Alex can figure out what to do with him."
Trivia[]
- The developer notes reveal that Trevor's negligence actually caused the outbreak that sets the game's events into motion.
